Description

Suited for Change helps disadvantaged women in the Washington DC area get jobs by providing them the tools they need to confidently present themselves in interviews and in their new jobs. Free programs include workshops that increase their preparedness, provision of interview-appropriate attire and counseling. Teens through seniors, women escaping homelessness or domestic violence, former offenders, those recovering from substance abuse or moving from welfare to work are served by a small staff and dedicated volunteers. Long term, we seek to end poverty in our community.
