Description

The Sugar Pine Foundation was formed to
reestablish natural regeneration of white pines in the Lake Tahoe Region. This project will require finding sugar pines, western white pines and whitebark pines with a natural genetic resistance to white pine blister rust, a non-native invasive fungus from Eurasia.
