Description

We are a small church, located between Lawrence and Topeka, that provides many services to our surrounding communities. We offer a number of feeding and healing ministries, reaching out to community members with special needs through programs such as We Care Bears (handmade bears for hospital ER pediatric patients), Hats of Love (handmade hats for oncology patients), Blankets of Blessing (handmade blankets for homebound or nursing home residents—both elderly and youth have received one of our special blankets), meals for families in times of need, and Christmas caroling and gifts for elderly and disabled members of our community. We have raised thousands of dollars through our annual Valentine benefit dinners for local families with medical needs. We have a new fellowship and ministry center and are expanding our outreach.
