Description

SAGE’s mission is to help create a new generation of entrepreneurial leaders whose innovations and social enterprises address our world’s major unmet needs. Our belief is that the “social entrepreneurship attitude” can be taught to high school students by using experiential and problem-based learning strategies. SAGE provides high school students, and their university student mentors, with a platform from which to create social enterprises.

SAGE provides a unique opportunity for university students to give back to their alma mater high schools, by helping their younger proteges create, deliver and assess the social enterprises that they create. At the end of the year, each high school SAGE team must describe their enterprises to a panel of external judges from the business and civic communities.
