Description

Support Groups for Survivors & Family/ caregivers.
Founded in 1980, support, education & resources have been provided weekly. Groups are facilitated by trained volunteers & professionals.
Two groups, one for the stroke survivor And a separate group for the family & caregivers meets every Tuesday morning.

Hospital Visitor Program: Selected & trained stroke survivors or family visit those new to stroke while still in the hospital. They provide encouragement & offer information about the Stroke Support Association support groups & programs.

It is through private & corporate donations, grants and the assistance of dedicated volunteers that this organization continues to offer these services for free.
