Description

Strays and Others, Inc. is a volunteer-run, 501(c)3, nonprofit organization dedicated to the rescue and responsible placement of homeless and unwanted animals. We provide both refuge and sanctuary for nearly 50 animals at any given time; offer medical care, spaying and neutering, good nutrition and a nurturing environment; and have placed over 4,200 animals into loving, permanent homes. We work primarily with dogs and cats, although we have been known to help everything from domestic geese, bunnies, wildlife, and even an unwanted horse! We are pleased to be known for our unusually high success rate in matching each animal with the best suitable home, and over 96% stay in their adoptive homes forever!
