STA is a 501c3 Registered charitable non-profit Mobile Crisis Intervention group based out of Knoxville, TN providing assistance primarily to the homeless population, but will help anyone in need. Through our Mobile Crisis/Intervention Unit we provide transportation to & pay for showers, transportation to hospitals, doctor appointments & job applications, clothing & grocery shopping, transportation & funds for other personal needs such as; haircuts, bikes, blankets, tents, toiletries, snacks, shoes, etc. We provide Emergency Mobile Crisis Intervention on an on-call basis to KARM, CAC, & VMC Case Managers & to “friends in need” as required. STA accompanies “friends in need” to court, provides written documentation when it is prudent & valid to do so. We utilize other organizations who promote mental health facilities to assist with severe issues.
