Description

Stewart's Caring Place is a not-for-profit organization providing an integrated approach to caring for individuals and families touched by cancer that is inclusive, non-judgmental and confidential. Stewart's Caring Place offers services that enhance the emotional, physical, spiritual and social lives of its participants. Specifically, these services include many educational programs, support groups, individual counseling, art and music therapy, informational assistance and resources, children’s programs, and other healing arts services, such as massage, Yoga, Tai Chi and Reiki. Stewart’s Caring Place is the only nonprofit in Summit, Stark, Medina and Portage Counties that offers long-term free of charge non-medical cancer services in a relaxing homelike setting to anyone without regard to race, religion or economic status.
