Description
Sterling House is a multi-service community center which provides social, educational and recreational programs for all ages through Child Development Center programs, Positive Youth Development Services, Adult Programs and Community Services. Programs include: nursery/pre-school, soccer, basketball, lacrosse teams and leagues, day camp, afterschool enrichment classes, volunteer programs for youth and adults, employment programs for teens and adults, Food Pantry, Holiday Toy Drives, community-crisis support.The center is funded by the United Way, Town of Stratford, private contributions, fundraisers, foundation/corporate grants, fee for services. The center has been in operation for 75 years.
