Linking Youth and Senior Citizens

Step Up In Georgia, Inc. mission is to link the two most vulnerable age groups in our society - our youth and senior citizens; to provide resources, training, community and economic development opportunities; to facilitate age in place services and affordable housing initiatives; to support an environment of intergenerational experiences to combat stereotypes and biases that creates obstacles and conflict for harmonious communication between the generations; and, to empower them to build safe and healthy communities through educational and social awareness.

We envision communities where generations live, learn, work and play together; where each generation is nurtured, protected, respected, empowered; and provided equal opportunity to reach their full potential in spite of age or age related challenges.
