For over 100 years, St. Thomas the Apostle School has been educating children in the Pico-Union district “creating a blessed community in the heart of Los Angeles, one child at a time.”
St. Thomas the Apostle’s Visual and Performing Arts Department is committed to promoting an appreciation for the arts in the inner city of Los Angeles and hopes to disseminate an understanding and enthusiasm for artistic expression and creativity.
It is our intention to provide a space for our students that is both safe and supports character development and boosts self confidence. St. Thomas recognizes the importance of the arts in helping create a well-rounded student that is not only intelligent but can also adequately express themselves in creative and artistic ways.
