Description
Founded in 1922, the museum is the first museum in St. Petersburg, and the third oldest historical museum in Florida. The Museum of History has collected and preserved over 30,000 artifacts of the history and prehistory of St. Petersburg, the State of Florida and the Pinellas Peninsula during the last 90 years.
The mission of the St. Petersburg Museum of History is to collect, preserve, and communicate the history and heritage of Florida with emphasis on St. Petersburg and the Pinellas Peninsula
