Saint Martin de Porres High School is part of a national network of Catholic, college preparatory high schools called the Cristo Rey Network. All schools are modeled after the Cristo Rey Jesuit High School located in Chicago, IL.
All network schools serve young people from economically disadvantaged families who typically could not afford a private education for their children.
All schools incorporate a unique corporate work-study program as a way for students to help pay for 70% of their tuition. This program contracts with local businesses to fill full-time, entry-level clerical jobs. A team of four students share one full-time position with each student working five full business days each month.
Our academic schedules are structured so that students are available for work without missing any class time.
