St. Luke's Community House, a comprehensive Family Resource Center, has a history of serving its West Nashville neighbors since 1913, when it was founded as a community clinic for the families of prisoners in area correctional facilities. Since that time, we have evolved into a top community resource providers in Nashville, serving the residents of one of the neediest neighborhoods in Davidson County. Our mission is to help low-income working families in West Nashville achieve their potential and prevent problems that threaten the stability of families and community. Our vision is to see parents, children, youth, seniors, and extended families develop the inner strength and support to deal with life's challenges and opportunities. Our commitment is to provide quality services that are appropriate, affordable and values-based by partnering with staff, volunteers, donors, and community agencies.
