Description
The St. Louis Lead Prevention Coalition works to educate families and community about the relationship between health and housing. We are a grass roots organization that provides workshops and home visits on a variety of indoor environmental, health and safety concerns ranging from lead poisoning to asthma triggers, healthy eating to home safety.
We provide training for social workers, contractors and other professionals and also undertake advocacy projects.
Our approach is to educate and to provide materials to enable families with limited means to immediately apply low cost solutions to create a healthier home environment.
Our goal is to make communities healthier one home, one family at a time.
