Description

St. Johns is a United Church of Christ local congregation. The United Church of Christ is a Protestant church. We are 201 members actively ingaged in mission within our community and the world. We operate from April through November the largest fresh produce garden for the poor in our area; we offer community service for adjudicated youth; we operate a free labyrinth; we participate in local heath care programs and initiatives; we sponsor a young lady from East Jerusalem; we are strong advocates of envrionment justice in our community and region. Our three major mission foci are envrionment justice, health care and health related issues and children/youth. We are handicapped accessible and offer three services of worship weekly and educational ministries for all ages.
