Description
St. John’s Mercy Regional Foundation encourages private gifts and community-wide support to fund programs and capital needs of St. John’s Regional Medical Center and health related agencies in the four-state area. These gifts have helped us provide the free colon cancer screening program, provide screening mammograms to uninsured women through the Sister Corita Holmes Breast Center, and medicine and equipment for St. John’s Hospice and Home Health patients who are unable to pay. Other examples of services and programs funded by the Foundation through donations include the Community Clinic of Joplin, Children’s Center of Southwest Missouri and area volunteer fire departments and first responder units.
