Description
We are affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and have been in existence for 130 years. Our primary purpose is to spread the Good News of God's love. Our tag line is "Bringing Hope and Love to All Hearts."
We have about 1000 baptized members and in the fall, winter and spring our worship attendance averages about 340. In the summer, we average about 150.
We have a Nursery school for 3 & 4 yr. olds; a food pantry that is open 3 times a week; a once-a-week Community Supper/soup kitchen.
We are in the initial stages of a $2.5 million capital campaign to expand our facilities, which will also include Sr. Adult Day care and some satellite offices for Lutheran Social Services of NY>
