Description
St. Gregory's University is the only Catholic University in Oklahoma. It was founded in 1875 by Benedictine monks, who brought the Catholic faith to what was then Indian Territory. St. Gregory's is a Private, Catholic-Christian, residential, co-educational, liberal arts institution. The grounds consist of 75 acres surrounded by the 640-acre property of St. Gregory’s Abbey. We believe that “St. Gregory’s University promotes the education of the whole person in the context of a Christian community in which students are encouraged to develop a love of learning and to live lives of balance, generosity and integrity.”
