Description

The goal of St. Basil the Great Greek Orthodox Church GOYA (Greek Orthodox Youth of America) program in Houston Texas is to unite teenagers together in fellowship within the spiritual and social environment of the Church. G.O.Y.A. works to educate and edify young members of the Church. We encourage them to increase their knowledge of the Orthodox Christian way of life and to help them deepen their personal relationship with Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. These young men and women will become strong Orthodox Christian Leaders who know the value of serving the community and giving back to society and are hope if they will not only go forth into this world, but will make a difference in it.
