Description
SSS Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit, educational and charitable organization primarily dedicated to the rescue and care of unwanted exotic pet reptiles, amphibians, fish and birds [target animals] from the public. The intention of the organization is to provide a facility and service that supports law enforcement and the public in being able to accept confiscated, unwanted, or otherwise displaced target animals and caring for those animals until their natural death or the animal can be relocated to a suitable permanent facility or environment. However, an important objective is also to educate the public on the difficulty and possible consequences of keeping many exotic reptiles, amphibian, fish and birds as pets and to dissuade the public in obtaining these target animals as pets.
