The S.P.O.T. (Spiritual People Offering Time) Family Center, located in Citrus County, Florida provides programs to assist youth, single parents and families who want to re-affirm and strengthen their family bonds. The S.P.O.T. works hand in hand with the community to assist in their efforts to create a safe, drug-free lifestyle of love and guidance for their youth.
The S.P.O.T. Family Center offers a monthly Outreach event where everything is free including hot food, beverages, games, crafts, live music, clothing, household goods, groceries, and an encouraging life message.
For the past four years, The S.P.O.T. Family Center has offered a Christmas Jam, a three-day event where they offer hot food, groceries and seasonal events to needy families. And. for children ages 2 to 16 they offer wrapped presents and toys. Last year they surpassed their goal of 2,500 toys. This year their goal is 5,000 gifts and toys for these children.
