Description

501c-3 non profit org since 4-2003. Rescuing and providing care and rehabilaitaton for 60 horses at all times. We provide a forever home for horses damaged from accidents, illness, abuse and neglect or whatever has brought them to our gates and older horses who need retirement and can continue a good quality of life.
In all we do and work for with horses, we are open to many community programs/needs, where the horse and a farm provide a place for many youth and adults with special needs in their lives. It could be community service work for youthful offenders or our youth working in the area of Volunteering. It could be for adult on probation and other areas of need where the horse can be so much a part of life missing for so many people in need. Care, Love and Sharing time are the wonders that come naturally here at the farm and a few miracles are seen as well. Healing hearts and emotional wounds, so much is ,witnessed daily at Spirit Acres Farm.
