Description
Spectrum has more than thirty-six years of experience providing housing and support services to homeless, foster, and at-risk youth in Vermont.
Spectrum One Stop (SOS), located in Burlington, VT is an emergency youth shelter, drop-in center, and multi-service center, which offers youth ages 14-21 a comprehensive continuum of services. Our programs include:
•Housing –emergency shelter and transitional living
•Street Outreach
•JOBS program
•Mental health and substance abuse counseling
•Downtown Education
•Juvenile Justice
•Youth Development Services
•Domestic Abuse Education Project
•Mentor Program
These services also support youth in Spectrum’s Single Room Occupancy (SRO) residential program and the Murray Street Youth Co-op. The Co-op provides housing for adolescent males in state custody, and the SRO is a nine-room residential program that provides housing for young people in making a successful transition to independent living and a productive adulthood.
