Description
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit chartered organization. We are a Humane Society which also investigates Animal Cruelty complaints in Gibson and Obion Counties in West Tennessee. We are a no-kill shelter. All of our staff are volunteers, there are no paid employees. We foster our animals in private homes and Veterinary care, food and supplies are all done by donations from the public. We do have fundraisers locally and do apply for grants. However, we do not yet qualify for most grants because be haven't been operating for more than a year. We just charted January 31st, 2007, and became 501(c)(3) May of this year. We are a small organization that rescue and prosecute Animal Cruelty violators.
