Spanish Coalition for Jobs, Inc. exists to enhance the quality of life for Latinos through educational, vocational and employment services, and through advocacy, thus enabling the achievement of economic independence.

SCJ offers an array of highly sought after workforce development programs including Adult Basic Education, financial literacy seminars, accredited post-secondary vocational training as well as Employment Services. These programs address and build on the basic needs of Chicago’s Latino community such as literacy, technology and employment skills in an effort to provide comprehensive training programs that delineate a clear path out of unemployment, underemployment, and poverty. Through strategic partnerships within Chicago’s business community, SCJ has successfully placed thousands of highly skilled graduates into career strengthening employment offering a livable wage, benefits, and greater personal and professional advancement.
