Description
We provide in home, intensive family support for families at risk of abuse or neglect. The families begin this voluntary program when they are expecting their child and they continue with the program until the child goes to school or reaches the age of 5. Children are most vulnerable to abuse and neglect when they are under 5 years of age. Our families are at high risk due to: previous abuse or neglect; they may have previous drug or alcohol abuse or domestic violence issues. We offer the family support, a listening ear, referrals to community resources, printed parenting skills materials.
