Description
Southern Sudan Humanitarian provides educational opportunity to elementary students in Southern Sudan by helping local villages and communities build and operate private elementary schools focusing on education rather than infrastructure and opportunity rather than organization. *Most students in the schools SSH operates are orphans that have lost their parents during the 20 year civil war between North and South Sudan. SSH also provides a meals program for these student, which for many is the only meal they receive.
