Description
Southern Nazarene University is a regional liberal arts university of approximately 2,200 students in suburban Oklahoma City, OK. The university is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The university enjoys additional accreditation for master's degree programs in Teacher Education, Educational Leadership, Counseling Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Religion, Master of Business Administration and Management. The School of Music is also accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music. The education program is accredited by the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education, and the nursing program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. Currently the school enjoys the largest enrollment and the most dynamic faculty in its history. The university operates annually on a balanced budget, and a growing endowment provides a limited amount of scholarship support to students.
