Description

Train & select marksmanship competitors for National and International amateur competitions; to provide facilities adequate to conduct advanced training for amateur competitors; develop the skills required of national and international amateur shooting competitors for Olympic class, national, international shooting events. Give training support to organizations conducting national and international level competitions, the primary source of talented marksman. STMTC cadre evaluates individual marksman with the anticipation of acquiring undiscovered talented competitors. Organizations that regularly conduct or use STMTC support are the US Military Services marksmanship teams, Federal, State and local law enforcement agencies, individual law officers, Collegiate / high schools, state established marksmanship teams, BSA, 4-H clubs, and local communities, high schools, homeowner associations, and nonprofit organizations desiring to educate children and adults in firearm safety.
