Description

The mission of South Hills Judo Club is to positively affect the character, judo, and lives of its members and those associated with judo through the principle of “mutual benefit and welfare” To achieve these goals, the South Hills Judo Club, has been granted nonprofit status in order to raise funds to provide scholarships to allow underprivileged, at-risk youth to study judo at our club.

Eventually we hope to develop community-based youth judo programs throughout the Pittsburgh area with the goal of providing not only affordable, safe, high-quality judo instruction, but to provide an atmosphere were both boys and girls can develop the self-esteem, physical fitness, life skills and personaldiscipline that is gained through the study of martial arts and participation in competitive sports.
