Description

SEARDF, Inc. is incorporated in the State of Florida as a not for profit public charity and is dedicated to the rehabilitation of land mine amputees who have lost their livelihood due to injuries sustained by exploding land mines. The goal is to establish an ECO-Village and have the handicapped actively involved in the process of making the village self sufficient, sustainable and reproducible, thereby making them again productive members of their community.
The handicapped are provided housing, but they must "earn" the support. SEARDF, Inc. is not seeking to redistribute wealth, but to make maximum use of available resources to build the ECO-Village, which is based on the grass-roots concept of community development by applying appropriate technology.
