Description

SCICSG provides support to amateur radio operators within the state of Indiana through knowledge exchange in developing local clubs, Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Services and Amateur Radio Emergency Service teams and coordinating networking opportunities with other amateurs throughout the state with the skills and knowledge needed locally.
In addition, SCICSG supports amateur radio emergency communications (EMCOMM) efforts within the state through the construction and maintenance of equipment and facilities suitable for EMCOMM use, such as amateur radio repeaters in unserved areas and mobile and portable stations for deployment to disaster locations.
