Description
Our Services - Comprehensive health care is provided to adults and children. Services include screening, diagnosis, treatment, health maintenance, preventive care, prenatal, well child and adolescent care, adult education/counseling, behavioral health services and out-patient care. Additional services/programs include a dispensary and lab on premises, school interventions including a school-based clinic, a chronic care program for diabetes, and a Comprehensive Perinatal Service Program (CPSP).
SCFHC provides health care with an emphasis on “health education.” The Center practices preventive medicine in its broadest sense which involves educating and involving patient and family in accepting responsibility for their own health. By emphasizing preventive care and health education, the Center increases the possibility for patients to prevent illness and avoid hospitalization.
