Description
The SC Hospitality and Tourism Educational Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 Non profit organization registered with the State of South Carolina and the Internal Revenue Service. Our mission is a simple one; to educate and promote the hospitality industry in South Carolina as a viable career option and to lend the skills needed to be successful. We do this by using a three way approach; through our school to career program, professional development and scholarships programs. Our school to career programs are in public high schools to train young adults to learn about what the hospitality industry has to offer them as a viable career in management. Our professional development programs offer people currently in the industry the skills necessary to advance current job; and our scholarship programs help our high schools students seeking post secondary education the much needed funds to attend and be successful in College.
