The Someone Cares Soup Kitchen and Tutoring Program is located in Costa Mesa, CA . Our mission is simple: To feed a daily nutritional meal to the homeless, the unemployed, the working poor, the handicapped, the mentally challenged, and the senior citizens and most important of all - the children. Our belief is that no one should go to bed hungry, on the street or otherwise. The Soup Kitchen provides a hot, nutritious meal 7 days per week. We are serving 250-300 meals per day. The Soup Kitchen not only feeds the body, it feeds the mind. We are dedicated to providing a tutoring program to insure academic literacy for the impoverished and at risk youth of Orange County. Our goal is to break the cycle of poverty by educating the youth of the less fortunate to become self-sufficient.
