Mission:
To develop a new generation of leaders with the cross-cultural knowledge, communications skills, and international connections they need to create a more informed, peaceful and just global society. Soliya partners with educational institutions across conflict lines, using new media technologies and transformative educational programs to empower young people to be catalysts for social change.
The Soliya Connect Program is a unique cross-cultural education program that directly connects university students across the globe in a rich online environment to collaboratively address the divide between the West and the Muslim World. Participating students engage in intensive, facilitated dialogue in small groups via Soliya’s custom-built online videoconferencing application and create media products about the relationship between the West and the Muslim World.
