Description
The mission of Solid Foundation, Inc. is to inspire, empower, and equip girls to reach and obtain their highest heights, personally, academically, spiritually and professionally. The purpose of our organization is to assist girls 8 to 17 years of age with developing a solid foundation to build their lives upon. Solid Foundation provides comprehensive programming for girls who reside in Southeast Michigan. The program consists of seven components: self-management; college exploration and preparation; workforce readiness; financial literacy; educational enrichment, cultural diversity; and mentoring. Our goal is to equip girls with tools and strategies to resolve conflict without violence, combat negative peer pressure, excel academically and create a solid educational and professional foundation.
