Description
The Society of Decorative Painters is an international membership organization established in 1972 for all painters, regardless of age, preferred medium, favorite style, or skill level. The organization’s mission is: “To stimulate worldwide interest in and appreciation for decorative painting; to recognize the diversity of and excellence in the art form; and to serve as the educational resource center for all aspects of decorative painting.” SDP offers a Certification program, publishes The Decorative Painter magazine, maintains the SDP Permanent Collection of decorative painting works and hosts the annual SDP Conference & Expo.
