Description
Founded over 50 years ago, Society for the Blind is the Sacramento Region's only full-service agency serving blind and visually impaired people of all ages. Our mission is to empower individuals who are blind or have low vision to live productively and independently by building confidence through training, tools and mentorship. We do this through core educational courses such as Braille, White Cane Travel, Daily Living Skills, and Computers and Adaptive Technology. We have special programs for youth, seniors, and career-bound adults.
