Sobriety High School is a charter school and a 501(c)(3) organization that serves recovering high school students in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. Sobriety High, one of the first recovery high schools in the country, has operated for 18 years. Sobriety High has 4 campuses located in the Twin Cities area at Edina, Maplewood, Burnsville and Coon Rapids. The school provides invaluable support to teens that are committed to recovery. The school is fully accredited. Each year approximately 60 students graduate. Many graduates attend college, trade schools or move directly into employment. The curriculum consists of standard high school classes, electives and a group recovery session each day. Contributions to Sobriety High School go to supporting the academic and recovery environment at each campus. Sobriety High Foundation, another organization that appears on this list, is a separate organization that has a different mission from that of Sobriety High School.
