Skyline Foundation is a non-profit 501 c (3) that supports the Elders of Skyline Retirement Community. The Foundation provides benevolent care and special improvements to the facilities and services that directly impact the lives of the elders that are residents of the community. The foundation was founded in 1979 by a group of residents in an effort to memorialize residents that had expired and to provide funds for special needs within the community. The Mission of the Foundation is to provide Skyline residents with caring quality services toward the enhancement of physical, mental and spiritual well-being consistent with the Christian Gospel. Since 1979 Skyline Foundation as funded over $2.2 million toward special projects and have made a difference in the lives of at least 500 Elders each year. Benevolent care for residents/elders that live at Skyline who are no longer able to support themselves financially is a strong and rewarding focus of the Skyline Foundation.
