Description
As Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we are called to participate in the mission of Jesus. Our choice of ministry is in keeping with our BVM mission: being freed and helping others enjoy freedom in God's steadfast love. (BVM Constitutions #10)
Current ministries include:
-Education at all levels: preschool, elementary, high school and college; special education, ESL, adult education, religious education, administration
-ministry as hospital, hospice and prison chaplains
-serving in justice and peace centers, environmental initiatives, housing projects, shelters for women and homeless.
