Description
SCFA is to provide physical, social, educational, vocational/technical, therapeutic, and economic assistance and other necessary aide to enhance the quality of life for children, families, and communities of eastern North Carolina and southeastern Virginia.
SCFA offers a free After School Tutoring program, a 3-week Summer Enrichment Program, and Helping Other People Exceed, a program that works with young people ages 12 to 17 years who are at risk of experiencing negative outcomes.
SCFA provides a Health Awareness program and Life Enrichment, a financial literacy program, offers basic finance classes (i.e. budgeting), advanced finance classes (i.e. home buying seminars), and free tax preparation.
