The SFTPAA offers theater and performing arts training to all interested individuals within the Sacramento, CA region not reached by mainstream arts programs due to economic, racial or other barriers. SFTPAA's programs include:
a) The annual Sinag-tala Theatrical Revue, a full-scale annual theater production in which some 100 children, teens and adults each year undergo 12 weeks of free, intensive training in theater and performing arts concepts, technical and business elements of stage production, and the interpretation of the musical, choreographic and literary works of Filipino artists;
b) The Sinag-tala Theater Ensemble, a touring company that performs Filipino music, dances and literary ensemble pieces at various venues throughout the year.
c) The Sinag-tala Rondalla Program, a series of classes in the study and performance of traditional Filipino rondalla music performed on string instruments unique to the Philippine culture.
