Description
We exist to:
* promote and develop all activities that are benevolent, educational, civic, religious, social and athletic
* breakdown barriers between peoples within our community
* serve as a contact ministry for people in need, putting them in touch with support agencies
* distribute food or clothing to families according to their need
* assist people in finding jobs and emergency housing
*teach young people creative skills
*develop summer programs for the youth of of our community
* provide young people with mentors to help them grow to be productive members of our community
The Simple Room is committed to the youth of our community. We offer them a place to hear about the transforming love of Jesus, and about His life, teachings, death, and resurrection, and see His love modeled through us. We provide an environment that fosters personal growth, respect, discipline, and concern for the welfare of others. Our approach engages all aspects of the person.
