Mission Statement

Promote peace, healing and responsibility in adult relationships in order to eliminate domestic murders in the United States by the year 2010.

Vision

Promote successful community-based domestic violence reduction efforts in order to reach zero domestic murders by 2010.


Silent Witness began promoting an end to domestic violence in 1990 and now in 2006 we are pleased to report that domestic homicide rates are dropping significantly. Our message is one of hope, help and healing for the victims and perpetrators of domestic violence. In this site you will find out more about Silent Witness's efforts to end the silence about domestic violence and bring successful programs to every state.
