Description
Signature Music is a model program for urban music education. There are two programs. The first is a school year based program that provides children from low-income families access to free instruments, discounted or free lessons from qualified instructors, and performance opportunities. the Band and Choir camp is an offshoot of that program, and several children are given scholarships or financial aid through the year round program to attend the camp (for both youth and teens). The mission of Signature Music is to provide tangible opportunities to low-income children who want to pursue music (either education or performance).
