Description

Established in opposition to hazing in 1869, Sigma Nu is a brotherhood of gentlemen devoted to the tenets of Love, Truth, and Honor.

Sigma Nu was colonized at James Madison University as the Iota Delta Chapter in 1972 and chartered in 1974. The Iota Delta Chapter has a rich history of 700 brothers spanning across four decades. Sigma Nu is the largest and longest running fraternity at James Madison University.
