Description
Sierra Nevada Teen Ranch is a local, nonprofit, faith-based christian organization desiring to serve Nevada's at-risk youth. We are in the process of developing the land and the first of 4 homes, which is located in rural Nevada about 30 minutes from Reno, Nevada. We have our 501(c)s status and all donations are tax deductible.
Marvin and his wife Jan are co-founders. Marvin is the chaplain at the local juvenile detention center and desire to do more for the youths he sees entering and re-entering the justice system all too often.
The Ranch will hav eon-site education and vocational learning, recreational activities, personal development and a variety of experiences such as ranching, music/arts and gardening.
